Love this place. The brisket is fantastic. Low score for atmosphere? Well it's a trailer in a half muddy parking lot. That said, I'll stand in the mud anytime for BBQ like this. Can't wait to go back.

It’s actually great! People in the comments comparing it to Texas are missing the point lol. Great option for a good, relatively cheap, fast meal near Sunday River. Get the pork sundae.

If you are in the area, this is by far the best BBQ there is! The pork and chicken were cooked to perfection, and the taste kept you wanting more! A must stop for sure!

Hits the spot! Excellent selection of meats and sides at a great price. Be sure to buy extra meat so that you can have extra for another day. Also on the other side of the shared parking lot is a great little store where you can get some fantastic Maine beers to compliment the meal. Be sure to look at the menu photos here first cause it’s gonna feel overwhelming!

Went at 7 on a Sunday first time vistor. Driven by it but as a weekday skiier dozens of times but it's never open. Went for my first time and was impressed. A lot of food in the 2 meat plate, pulled pork and brisket too much to eat so I ate like a king with a meaty breakfast. Spicey bbq sauce was excellent. Beans were end of day, and dry but man were they good, excellent rich stewed flavor! I think the cornbread could have used a little more salt tho, my only complaint.

Generous portions, great smoke, the pickles were homemade and perfect with the meat. The corn salad was delicious with a hint of fresh basil. Corn bread was a different color, more like hay. Maybe honey sweetened, tasted ok. I ordered 1/2 lb of just pulled pork. Husband purchased the pulled pork sandwich and sides. The sandwich had more meat than my order of just meat. Very generous servings. Rainy day, lots of puddles, no covered seating, we managed to hit a lull and it was so worth it.

Terrific local BBQ in Bethel, Maine. We drove by several times and the smoker was always going early in the morning and late into the evening. For our first time there, we ordered the 6-Pack to Go, which is billed as two pounds of pork, 6 rolls, large coleslaw, pickles and sauce. For our family of four, we added four orders of cornbread and asked if they could split the order into one pound each of pulled pork and pulled chicken so that we could taste both. They were happy to hear that we wanted to try both and did not miss a beat. We also tried their hot smoked cashews. Everything was delicious and our take-out was ready within minutes after placing our order. This place is definitely worth a stop or even a drive out of your way.

Authentic BBQ! Delicious! Let me warn you right off the bat, the portions are large. I got much much more food than I was expecting. The food is terrific. The staff is friendly, and the prices were reasonable considering the portion size. The wild BBQ sauce is spicy, but not oppressive. I got a variety of meats, and I enjoyed the pork ribs the most Definitely stop by!
